Coordinate and/or facilitate the resolution of any barriers, either production or pre-production that could impede the achievement of the operational excellence scheduled events, to include:

- Work with Pre-Outfit 1 Management team and front line supervision in support of activities required to support readiness for Product in Station Startup
- Define and Ensure work order documentation with shift by shift visual controls are executable; including trade planning boards and visual management boards on the shop floor
- Ensure Clean Starts for material to execute plan is on hand at jobsite
- Ensure budget reflects work scope
- Identify and validate all pre-execution support tasks are resolved (T-minus processes)
- Capture Product Flow Disruptions (in Database) and coordinate the resolution of design/engineering/quality/material/support service issues impacting execution
- Maintain and update Configuration Management and access to online tools and checklists for PO1 OPEX Processes on PO1 website
- Develop, maintain and train others on standard work practices
- Generate affinity diagrams for systemic issue resolution brainstorming
- Ensure stock materials are available to sustain the OPEX processes

Required/Preferred Education/Training

- Graduate apprentice or Associate Degree combined with production experience preferred
- Lean Six Sigma: Lean 101 or Yellow Belt; or Operational Excellence training preferred
- High school diploma/GED required

Required/Preferred Experience

- Minimum 2 years of production trade or planning experience required
- Solid understanding of shipbuilding processes and MACPAC system
- Strong computer knowledge/experience with Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and MACPAC
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across various levels of management, both written and oral
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
- Understanding of labor cost reporting
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, including ability to develop process controls and implement solutions
- Ability to organize, plan, and execute small projects
- Teamwork skills
