Job Description

Community Care, voted one of the Best Places to Work in Maine, is seeking a Family Integration Specialist (Support Worker) to be part of our Treatment Foster Care Team. The FIS actively participates in the evaluation, treatment, and basic care of children who require therapeutic services; provides one on one support to clients and provides supervised visits to clients and families; works with foster parents, birth parents, therapists, and other professionals to assess skills and establish an individualized treatment plan; maintains regular contact with foster parents and the child to provide support and guidance.

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; experience working with children with behavioral and/or emotional challenges and families utilizing treatment team planning.
