This innovative program uses a comprehensive early intervention approach for children aged 12 -48 months of age of with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Guided by principles of developmental psychology and applied behavior analysis (ABA), the Home Visitor will work with children and their families in their homes using teaching interventions which are delivered within play based, relationship focused routines. The person in this position will work closely with University of Maine personnel and Child Development Personnel and must be able to remain client focused in these interactions. The Bridges Program at UCP is looking for someone with experience working with young children with a variety of diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder,  ADHD, and ODD. Children attend school sessions ranging from 7:15-4:15, 9-3, or 8-2.
